Many of us focus on physical woes and ignore our mental wellbeing, but did you know that by taking some time out and focusing on your mindset you’re not only able to increase your health and wellbeing not just on the outside, but on the inside too.
Meditation is a practice where an individual trains their mind through a variety of practices that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation and build inner energy. The word meditation carries different meanings to different people, some use it as a way of switching off after a busy day in the office, and some use it to prepare for a big project on their to-do list.
Meditation involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind,and is often used to clear and ease, helping with many health issues. These can include high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety. Sometimes meditation is performed sat down in a relaxed position, it can also be performed standing, all with the aim of having a calming affect on the body and mind directing awareness inward.
Course duration: 12 weeks
Sessions: 24 (2x 45 min sessions per week)
